Science

Science is the knowledge that one attains from the study of the world. The best way for students to attain such knowledge is through play. Another word for play in science is experimenting. Before experimenting the students should be asked a question to increase their inquiry. As the students play, they should be guided on the right track if they are not already. After the students experiment, worksheets should be available to find out what the students learned.
Math

Though elementary math may seem easy for adults now, it was not easy during our elementary school years. While teaching students how to solve math problems, the teacher must take into consideration the level of math that the students are at. Subtraction, multiplication, addition, and division, are some of the areas of study that the students will learn about. The students will also solve word problems related to the areas of study that they will focus on. The types of problems that the students will have will depend on the grade level they are in.

Language Arts
Learning how to read and write is a significant part of elementary learning. Students have learned the basics of writing, and are practicing the rules and concepts of formal writing. Grammar plays a large role in the way sentences are written, and therefore is emphasized during the students' elementary school years. Practicing reading and writing are other areas that the elementary students practice during their elementary school years. Because writing and reading are new to the students, the process of learning how to do them may be difficult.
